I have to admit—I’m not a doctor or a nutritionist. I’m just someone like you, figuring out what actually works for my body as I get older and want to feel energized, healthy, and strong. Over the years, I’ve learned that while we can use all the fancy products to try to glow on the outside, what really matters is what we put into our bodies. Food is medicine, and it’s the foundation of how we feel every single day.

That’s why I put together this 14-day detox plan—a simple, realistic way to nourish your body with natural ingredients, protein-rich meals, and essential nutrients. This is something we can try together, step by step, without feeling deprived or overwhelmed. It’s not about perfection—it’s about giving your body a much-needed reset while supporting your wellness goals, weight loss, and healthier lifestyle.

Why I Love a 14-Day Detox

For me, a detox isn’t about juice fasts or extreme restrictions. I’ve tried those in the past, and honestly—they never stick. What I’ve found works best is a balanced, protein-focused plan that nourishes the body, keeps energy steady, and helps me feel lighter and more focused.

One thing I learned through trial and error is that you cannot ignore protein on a detox. It’s easy to get caught up in juices or smoothies and forget that your body still needs building blocks to function properly.

Protein helps:

  • Breakfast: Green smoothie with spinach, banana, protein powder, and chia seeds

  • Snack: Greek yogurt with berries and a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds

  • Lunch: Quinoa salad with grilled chicken, kale, cherry tomatoes, and lemon-tahini dressing

  • Snack: Apple slices with almond butter

  • Dinner: Baked salmon with roasted broccoli, cauliflower, and olive oil drizzle

It’s simple, delicious, and keeps me full without feeling like I’m missing out. I like that it’s balanced, sustainable, and feels like real food.
